We operate two emergency departments and offer a full range of acute services.
That includes a neuroscience centre, a cancer centre, and a hyper acute stroke unit to provide specialist care.

We tailor the education and training programme to the needs, skills, experience and competence of each doctor and their specialty.

"My team makes my day job so enjoyable"
I am a Consultant Anaesthetist and Co Clinical Lead for anaesthetics. I have worked at our Trust for over 8 years and work as part of a large team of 170 anaesthetists. I spend two to three days in theatre and two days doing non clinical work which involves managing improvement of our service delivery.
The best part of my job is meeting new people everyday whether that’s patients or staff at our Trust. We are a large NHS trust with 8000 employees. My team in particular make my day job very enjoyable because they are so friendly, and we are all very close. I have two teenage children and working here I have been able to balance work with my home life which is important to me.
Working at our Trust you will gain so much experience and mentorship support is always available to help you grow your career. I have had several promotions whilst working here at BHRUT.
